Back from Finland and Sweden

We had an awesome time on our Finland+Sweden roadtrip :) Here are some highlights:

 Alia was the best traveling baby ever!!

 She knows how to chill everywhere!

 Markus did a great job at the church, for ones he was the one getting translated and not the translator

 We had a super spicy Pakistani dinner at the church and got to chat with lots of people from lots of different countries

  I scored a kg of Ethiopian coffee on the way back through Sweden!

We had a great time getting to know the pastor and his wife :) 

We also spent a night in Sweden with Maj Liss and her mom and brother at a small farm. I got to pet the lambs and collect eggs from the barn, and also try some amazing lambburgers (while trying not to think of the cute little lambs in the barn...;)

Roadtrip to Finland day 1 :) Molde to Østersund.
We did a lot of driving, well personally I did quite a bit of sleeping having just come off a nightshift. When we came into Sweden we had a short stop by a little grocery store in the middle of no where. A guy was barbequing right outside the entrance and treated us to free hotdogs, or what they like to call "korv" here :) When we came to Østersund it was amazingly cold and we were too late for the evening buffet at the place we are staying. We went wandering up the street looking for something else, and eventually came upon "the Samurai", which happened to be amazing! Sushi AND fortune cookies, what more can you ask for??

Got my first letter ever from PNG today! :) They are a wee bit better at stamps than Norway, I must say.

First hike of the year

Yesterday my sister and I went on a small mountain hike for the first time this year :) It was windy and quite cold, but we found a nice spot away from the wind to eat our Tom og Jerry kjeks ;)

Got to hang out with this little cutie and her parents the last two days :) Alia was sporting her pretty dress from America, and captivated her audience even while sleeping. Precious! I'm so happy we're gonna live in the same country, baby girl :)
Also got to take part, for the first time, in the Wednesday night gathering with my church, awesome!
