We went on yet another cross country ski trip today. Calling it cross country might give the wrong impression through, what we did was more like climb a mountain and slide back down again :) There are hardly any flat surfaces around here. We went through a landscape that looked a bit like a dessert. Rolling, white hills bearing the impressions of raging winds. Today, however, it was completely still.
We saw tons of rabbit trails going up this hill
This was our lunch break, a sandwich, oranges, chocolate biscuits and of course kvikklunch. All the while enjoying the sun and the view of the glacier Folgefonna
Back at the cabin we grilled up some hot dogs and marshmallows
My feet eventually got a bit cold..
Yesterday we went down hill skiiing at a nearby ski place. It was awesome! We went up the hill in a 4 person, sitting down ski lift that took almost 15 minutes to the top! Foreseeing a bit of head first, possibly broken bones, kind of action, I decided to spare my camera that beating.
