Here are a few of the many, many shots I took during a two week trip to another region of this country :)

 Celebrating easter with a local congregation

 Ate a full spread of dayak food, including snake meat

 Visited the equator

 My good friends mom showed us how to make rice inside bamboo sticks on a fire

 Went to a big river, the only way of transportation north of there, and helped bring supplies for a lady that works in a village up-river

 Found a clean, and not brown river on a crazy road-trip...

 ...but on the way back we got a flat tyre and had to drive on it for a good 15 minutes before we found a place with a phone signal so we could call for help. Thankfully we found a shady place to wait

 After changing the tyre, we found some more crazy bridges to cross

 Coffee grinder at a local market

 Got to try on a taman people group outfit, made of thousands of beeds, yes it was heavy!

 Walked, and jumped, in the rain forest

 Played in the river mud

 Picked bananas and papayas!

 Visited a village with all houses on stilts

 Visited a long house

 Observed lots of crafts

 Drove some more interesting roads

 Visited another long-house, this is someones front room

 Went to a several hour long easter meeting, where me and 3 others performed an indon. song a-capella...yes..it is true
