Language session

Another language session ready to begin this morning! This is what I do 4-5 times a week. Me and one of my language helpers discuss a "process" which is an activity that includes several steps, such as cooking a meal, getting your hair cut at the salon, buying fruit at the market and so on.
I take pictures of every part of the process and I record the language helper saying the whole process through. Later I listen to the recording and learn the new words.
Now I'm at the point where I am retelling the process to my language helper and she corrects me when I use wrong grammar or sentence structure, or she give suggestions to how I can say it more natural. I have to record myself and listen to it, which is not always so fun ;)
I also describe a few of the pictures and ask questions about what I see in the pictures. It's a great way to learn everyday vocabulary. I will continue with this for a couple of more months before getting into stories and story telling.

Some of my pictures from making mie goreng (typical dish here) and from going to the hair dresser.
