You can always trust ants to find the weirdest places to inhabit, but why of all places would they chose to settle down in our shower head? I cannot for the life of me think of one benefit from living in a shower head. They are in constant danger of being drowned or sprayed by by whoever wants to use the shower, it is about the only place in the house that never contains food of any kind, and there is no hope for expanding their living area, as there is room for tops 50 ants in there (maybe 70 if they squeeze real thigh, I'm talking "no-personal-space tight", or "schools-just-out-angkot-tight" for you Asian pacificans!).
Possible theories: 1- they have a death wish, 2- lizards generally stay clear of the bathroom, 3- they are escaping the dictatorship of the queen ant, "crossing the waters" so to speak, to start a new and better life wherever the drain leads. I'm leaning towards option nr. 3

Just a few of the dauntless
