Yesterday I saw a completely drenched rooster and chicken for the first time. They looked so sad and soaked coming down the road looking for some shelter, while shaking their feathers in an attempt to dry up..
Tonight me and some friends went to a local warung (food place) for some supper
There was a bunch of food laying on the counter, some under banana leaves and some under little nets to keep the flies out. You picked what you want..
..then the guy heats it up on his stove. First time I've ever seen someone use an electric fan to fan the flames on an oven ;)
Just about an hour ago the sky opened up and it started pouring down. In just a few seconds our roof turned into a shower, its pretty crazy when it starts. And there is no forewarning, its like someone all of a sudden turned the shower on outside!
Then all the termites in the walls come out on the floor, I guess they are in survival mode. Hopefully they will go back where they came from when the rain stops...
