Visiting a hospital

Yesterday I went with my language helper and a friend to a private hospital. She needed to make an appointment, so I came with her to learn how you do that in this culture.
To see a specialist (at least this is how it was in this case) you need to show up at the hospital before noon and get a piece of paper with a number. Then you come back in the afternoon to actually see the doctor. In order to get your number though, you have to be there at 12 when they are handed out.
In this case, this is a very popular doctor, so people come early to get in line to get their number since he will only see 30 patients in the afternoon/night. So we were "sitting in line"for a while.
A guy was making sure everyone was staying in the right place in the line and no-one sneaking ahead! This was very different from all kinds of other lines I've seen in this country so far, where you have to constantly push ahead or people will just get in front of you!

I got to see a beautiful 2 day old baby girl! Didn't ask for a picture though..

Funny how all their illustrations are with white babies ;)

They even had a prayer room, not quite like in Norwegian hospitals

 Sitting in line!

 Got her number!

Also a shot of a cat sleeping outside our newly painted house! Awesome color, yeah! :) Still needs another coat though
